Being Generous to Others in Islam

We can also show appreciation by giving some of what we have to others. You can give to others in different ways, by donating money, food, clothes, toys, some of your time, helping an elderly person with their groceries, removing an object from the road, smiling, and speaking kindly to others, and so forth. Generosity is giving from your heart. Being generous comes with a lot of benefits and rewards. It increases your Faith, gets you closer to Allah, increases your blessings and favors from Allah, and Allah, in return, will remove obstacles and challenges in your life.
